If you watch the credits to the very end where they give special thanks to all the various townships and villages where filming was done, it's really most impressive--as is the fact that they paid local actors. The scenery was all divine to watch. And the obelisk as a key was a super nice touch. The movie was a nice archeological quest adventure romp through Egypt, and I thoroughly enjoyed it--definitely is along the lines of Quartermain and Jones, only different. Is Ivan Sergei Russian I wonder? Some of this was shot in Istanbul.
