As from one that has a fair understanding and appreciation for the art of bullfighting this documentary/film was superb. Had me hooked after the first 2 minutes.
Unlike the other reviewers before me who lack any descent understanding of humanity, who are simply little ninnies, likely offspring of the hippie generation, this film gives a good depiction of what bullfighting is about. The innate curiosity to see if one can take on the challenge in learning the art of bullfighting, the fears that are confronted by the matador, then growth and maturity that develops from the experience. Ironically it is odd that we Americans have not accepted bullfighting as a national sport.. It makes more sense than football, boxing, UFC, and especially hockey.
I take back what I said about we Americans adopting bullfighting as a national sport. It is likely that the art of bullfighting would the be skewed and gravely misinterpreted for the purpose of gaining greater economic profits.
My respects to those who took part in the bullfighting.
Again, great movie and highly recommend it to anyone with an open mind.
