I want to throw the prosecutor into the environment he says one has a choice about how you react to. If prison violence towards you and defending yourself is just an excuse and not a justifiable reason for stabbing someone, then why does he think the gang members in prison are there? If they aren't really that much of a threat society wouldn't put them in a steel and concrete cubicle where they are supposed to be contained until they can prove they have changed. If they are not that big of a deal, as he says, then he would have no problem dealing with it but lawyer in a suit wouldn't last five minutes around gangs in prison or on the streets.
