What would you do if someone vandalized your car?
If someone wrote an epithet in bright red letters across the windows?You'd probably want to get back at the person or people who did this.
Erin Davies found a way to "get back", that does not use violence or petty spite. She managed to turn the situation around to her advantage, AND bring attention to a problem and some of its victims. And I'm sure that pisses off the haters.
I'm not sure what they expected… did they think the cowardly act of vandalizing a car in the middle of the night was going to change the car owners sexuality? Did they hope she would hide a way in shame and fear.
Well, that didn't happen.
And i'm sure that infuriates the haters. And Erin is just an average person. Nothing special. NOt a super gifted film maker or speaker. We can pick apart her specific actions for not being storybook perfect. BUT she did it. She turned it around. And I bet that pisses off even more people. Despite all her flaws, she's doing something to make a difference.
She's trying and the haters are left in the dust fuming and moaning.

so the girl is a little clueless, immature, and moderately annoying BUT she managed to put together a relatively cool campaign that brought hate out of the closet...not that we all don't know hate exists, but putting it out there in our faces makes us talk. good start.

I even recommend Boys Don't Cry. * I like how Most of the People that were Interviewed; & when Davies has asked "why do YOU hate Gays?" they had all respond, "my religion told me so" ,we understand YOUR religion; but do you Dis-respect your Parents(in the bible it says if a child is shall to be disrespectful to their parents they shall be Stoned to death. Everyone had Hid behind their religion, No one said "This is Who I am,Who I truly Am, I hate Gays Because they are Gay," If you hate Gays Please Hate lesbians to, .
* I most defiantly appreciated that Davies had visited the Boys that have been murder through Hate crimes, If Only she showed All the Lives that had been taken away from Hate-Crimes. . * 99% of the negative comments were from the LG&T community, well again Most LG&T people just accept the hate because we are 'use' to it. Davies had Turned a Aggressive threat into a Passive awareness. . * I Do believe All of NewYork should thank Davies for the FagBug, since 2011 New York has equal rights and LG&T can be married! . . Perspective from California; the Media had Only covered stories involving the LG&T doing Hate crimes to YES on 8 houses. . When In my Own community no media had covered hate crimes for NO on 8 signs/stickers on cars, Prop 8 passed with No equal Rights.*Again this is an interesting way to get feedBack.Most LGT people just take all ANTI-Gay comments as a joke.Im speaking for myself. I have had HATE-Threats,Comments,and Vandalism done to my sister.That our Own Family had Cleaned Up with Her. . She told Her to Go back into the closet until the world was ready For the LGT community, when is that. I don't think LG&T community should be pushed to their own city to feel Safe, they should feel safe EVERYWHERE.
**You can Be whatever religion you want to Follow with your Faith, But does that Mean YOU as a Individual Cant think on your own anymore.?

* Davies If you want to Make another MOVEMENT for the LG&T community you should do one with the BIG corporate companies(target) that Donate over a million dollars to the ANTI-Gay Slogans. . Even on the Churches ( Ladder day Saints) how they ask Their Members to Donate a BIG sum amount of money to the anti-gay slogan. . ONE LOVE.
