As long as one exists, so will the other. Human kind needs one religion...call it whatever you want, but I'll call it peace. Until peace comes, my one religion, stories such as this will only repeat themselves. This is a great view into what it's like living in southern Lebanon. I expected more hate and anger towards Israelis, but was pleasantly surprised by a people who just want to be left alone and prosper like anyone else. I hope someday the entire region finds peace.

This s gripping documentary of the negative aspects of war and how they effect the common (innocent) people that don't want it. As always, the problem is lack of compassion from the other side. Peace will never prevail when there is an unbalanced caste system still in power and controlling our fate. Equality for all humanity is a must before any true peace can be accomplished. We have seen this in history time and time again, and it has never worked and will never work. So to conduct "peace-talks" until a true equality is accomplished is about as worthless as anything else we attempt. Its all just a big waste of time when money, greed and a social system of occupation, endogamy, culture, social class and political power is still prominent in any society. It divides us as humans and forces us into wars to keep this system in tact.Great movie and message

This documentary, by veteran filmmaker Jawad Metni, offers insight into the lives of the cluster bomb "demining" teams in southern Lebanon. In the post Lebanese-Isreali conflict era, the workers make their livelihoods by painstakingly combing through fields and orchards, roof tops and alley ways hoping to find tiny "bomblets", and provide a sense of security for both their own families as well as their community. It is clear that Metni was allowed into the lives of the deminers and is to be commended for his even handed presentation of the conflict. There are many heartbreaking scenes in the film as you feel the weight of the 'remnants' of the war on these people of the south, who want nothing more than to take back their land from these bombs and make it safe for future generations. The original musical score for the film makes it that much more unforgettable.

This documentary is very well done. I felt that it was very respectful of the victims of cluster bombs. It was very informative and had great production. More documentaries need to feature this type of story. It shows that even though a cease fire was declared the effects of this terrible conflict still effect people everyday. I cannot put into words the bravery that these bomblet clearing teams show. This film is worth the watch and the five stars I gave it.
