I like it. I think Katy did a good job here...her singing is pretty good...a few rough spots, but certainly much better than many other live performances I've seen by other popular singers, so not sure why all the negative comments here. And the backup dancers are awesome...I could watch them over and over. Good set decor and costumes too.

Seriously, just listen to her singing. It's obvious that her handlers are trying to deflect the fact that she cannot sing, period. That studio can make the average human being sound great, but when that same person has to actually sing, then all bets are off.

Handlers are her best allies....because she tries to do it with so called talent she falls far short of the mark. Just saying.

i thought she didnt sound that bad. nobody can be as perfect as they sound in their cds. the beginning was a little dry, but i think she picked herself up very nicely near the end, and it could be worse, she could be ke$ha

When she first started singing I actually thought it was a mock sketch from one the SNL guys! But then I realized it was actually her, I was so shocked! She cannot sing to save her life. I can sing better than that and my family ask me to please shut up when I do.
Poor girl, she's a fad that will (hopefully) eventually be forgotten.
