I was watching for Liberal catch phrases and propaganda. I did catch the part where he was selling his partner to join him, mentioned they had card blanch and could go all over the country for gay marriage, euthanasia and the wife told the Judge "didn't you vote against those things" Defending these and other immoral issues will be a deal killer to watch any more episodes.
On the other hand, the portrayal of the ACLU representative was very realistic: ready to spread her legs for anybody she just meets. A vulgar word defining a female dog in heat would be appropriate. No morals, no ethics, just representation of the ACLU.

With four entries in the Law & Order franchise, three CSIs and a long list of crime/law procedurals spanning the history of television it's hard to get excited by yet another. Especially when it smells so much like a tailor-made vehicle for it's lead. However Jimmy Smits is one of those actors that just belongs on TV so I had to watch.
It had a rough start. It was clear from the beginning that this show wasn't taking things too seriously when it came to reality. That's fine if the writer's keep Burn Notice in mind but not so much if inspired by Castle. The cast is far too pretty but perhaps that was necessary in the glare of Smits' charisma. It's not surprising that the neo-con zombies are up in arms as the pro liberal message is pretty heavy handed. However in the end it wasn't about left or right but the truth.
Smart, funny call for justice or glib, right-bashing vanity project? Could go either way.

That about sums it all up. The black convict is innocent and conservatism is evil. Won't be wasting any more of my time watching this show.
