I like how the anime shows the vampire's side of events, especially the weirdness of Nao's sadness over her dead husband and son. (Whom she killed, just like she did her mother.)
The see-through scenes are great, as always. Even though I read the manga, I felt the suspense when Natsuno was anticipating the movement of the vampire.
It's really clear why Natsuno Yuuki doesn't like his father. What a jerk! He didn't feel like marrying Nastuno's mother or giving his son his last name. He doesn't like religious items, so his son can't have them. He likes the idea of living in a low-crime area, so he unlocks the door after his son locked it.
I think when he realizes his dad unlocked the door, Natsuno knows he's doomed. His stupid parents have pretty much undermined all his work, and they won't believe his superstitious nonsense.
