what happen to all that water when they were crossing the inland sea, or by the cave when penny was playing with her invisible friend ? I was under the impression John was keeping a log, and everything was in chronological order. P.S., I would have hurt Smith , he should have kicked him into orbit

I understand turning the other cheek, but this is ridiculous. Dr. Smith tried to kill the family, used the robot to strong arm them when John was stranded on the planet, caused the whole mess that got the ship stranded on the planet in the first place, and recently gave Will up to aliens.If Smith's only antics were using up the water, being lazy, and maybe doing something selfish that got them stranded then it's understandable. Later in the series he got them into trouble because of greed and cowardice, but it wasn't so blatantly while trying to do them harm.But that's not the Smith at this point in the series. His actions haven't been careless or stupid, they've been purposefully sinister. Who pines for the return of someone who attempted murder?"If only Charlie Manson were out of prison, it would be OK if he tried to kill a few people."

A very interesting episodee, has lots to like in it. Very clever camera angles, a good story of the Robinson's survival minus any overacting Aliens or creatures, and fine performances from the entire case. Dr. Smith's true character emerges in this episode and he's at his best.
Bonus: Yes, this remains Debbie's finest hour, rather "dancing' or stealing fruit!

The dilemma itself -- managing diminishing resources in a hostile environment -- was gripping, but the story seemed really padded. And the growth effect and the way it was resolved was just silly. Why would his clothes change size with him? Oh well, I guess when John, Don AND the robot saw Dr. Smith in the buff during his shower, that was enough for one episode.
