...loved the show. But I'm always confused about why the press corps is so big for such a small population.

While it accomplished its goal of setting up and explaining events that will certainly be pivotal to the rest of the season, this episode felt rushed and left me feeling a bit flat.

Making room for plot development by offing a recurring or important character is not an uncommon device. It felt a bit obvious here though, and I did not feel empathy for the characters involved.

While my overall rating for the show is 5 of 5, this episode didn’t live up to my expectations.

It's perfect because the episode's events all come together and the motives make total sense right at the final scene (Admiral "consoling" Chief). Better than coffee.

I'm really enjoying the Cylon insurrection - hope there's some Sixes and Eights left next episode!

I thought it was a powerful way for Cally to go out, but wished they had set it up a bit more - whenever you see flashbacks on this show, you know someone's going to end up dead!

The parts of the episode that I keep going back to are Adama and Roslin's contrasting scenes together, the way they are so close in some respects and so distant in others. Can't wait to see how that develops.

I got a feeling from this episode that Tory may know more than she's letting on. She seems to be more comfortable and at ease with her skinjob makeover.
