I agree I have the problem constantly with the entire series. I either have to wait for the buffer and/or constantly reload. See 2 other replies

I thought it was for the spit, which would leave DNA, as when you blow air into a balloon/ball, small amounts of spit does come out of the mouth. See 3 other replies

Hmm...song credit-stealing...by a big guy, from a little guy...sounds awfully familiar...If you know who I am, you may know what I'm talking about.

Randy and Jared play hooky to catch some bands. Some family tension with the Stottlemeyers, and then a warm-and-fuzzy moment later.

[Small SPOILER: I love the scene when Mr. Monk is uncontrollably compelled to burn BOTH fingers, one after the other. Too funny, in a sick way.]

It made me so mad when nobody would help with the murder investigation. Yeah, maybe cops aren't welcome near the front of a rock concert; but this was important, a guy working with the band was dead, and people didn't care. Sometimes it's just not cool to act too cool to care.

Capt. and Monk wanted the ball, not for DNA, but for the menthol. The Rock Star guy uses a special inhaler imported especially for him from another country. The inhaler has menthol in it, making it very unique. Traces of the menthol would have been left in the air, in the ball, if the rock star inflated it. Also, I do not believe that DNA can be transferred by breath. So no, they wanted the menthol. Other than that I agree with you, Monk is a great show and I also appreciate the low level of violence.
