Description	Kevin James McMullin’s debut drama Exit 117 is a melodic group portrait of New Jersey youth and the kaleidoscope of hopes, fears, and laughs that is their last summer together. Told in a series of interconnected vignettes, characters confront adulthood in different ways. Brian says goodbye to relationships he has outgrown while Melissa and Tommy try desperately to preserve their adolescence. Matt and Sammy dream of escaping their small town in pursuit of destiny, while Grady and Janine defend their suburban middle-class life. As these characters fight and love and hope their way through this summer of transition, they reminisce about the past and dream about the future.

Oh come on everyone, it wasn't THAT bad. Sure the dialog was irritating but in fairness weren't we all irritating as teens? The movie has some sweet moments and it really captures that twighlight time when you are still part child and part adult.

Unbelievable that there are so many aspiring artists today who simply do not understand or value excellence. I blame it all on the Punk Rock era and the subsequent popularity of really bad art.

If I could give this movie zero stars, I would.

People need to understand the limitations on independent films. For the budget this is very well done. As for all the cursing, go to a high-school in New Jersey and listen in on the conversation. This is how they talk, they make it real. Not everything is light and fluffy and I personally have had enough of movies dumbing down real life to the point where it's just absurd situations that could never happen. I found this film to spark a sense of nostalgia and it had some funny parts! I loved it. Watch the movie for yourself though do not base it on these and my own review.

Alright so I will be the first to admit that the acting is pretty bad and the language is definitely vulgar but come on how did you talk in high school with you friends?? i mean that is what this movie is about...high school kids going to college at the end of the summer so thats probably why they act like high school kids going to college at the end of the summer. i think its a pretty good depiction of the relationships that we have while we are in high school and the friendships that we carry and lose when we leave our hometowns...honestly i think you guys may be wanting a huge hollywood film with amazing actors but in all actuality that is not what this is supposed to be so stop complaining and tyring to change it when it is already playing on the screen.....knowledge

Total waste of time...only made it 13 minutes and 6 seconds before I had to give up! Low budget and horrible acting combined with way too much cussing! Totally agree with early reviews, trying to figure out what the other people was watching who viewed this as an excellent movie! We definitely must have been watch two different movies!!!
