First of all, the plot is simple yet really interesting and exciting. The storyline of this anime series really got my attention into watching this show. At first, I thought it was going to be just another rundown series between differences of both sexes and the exploitation of women. I was really shocked as I followed the series because my expectations were completely off by a lot. The romance in this series also brought me in to watching it and see how opposite sexes would get along if a situation like this was ever to happen. Plot is 5/5Vandread, also offers amazing graphics and lighting during action sequences and their fight against the harvesters. More importantly is the dubbing of the series to English. Funimation and Gonzo Studios did a really great job in dubbing the characters. Voice acting was top notch and because of that, the characters in the story becomes more realistic and that the voices also matches the appearance of each character. Graphics is 5/5 and sound/voice acting is 5/5Overall, the series was great!! Although made in 2000-2001, it is still a great mecha series and I would categorize its amazing performance with the Gundam series. The studios who made this should reconsider making a revival season and show the aftermath after the harvest fleet was defeated. Vandread, sets a standard for another, yet great mecha series.
