The Simpsons has no original writers working on these episodes, it's all a bunch of new people, and really, not since season ten have a majority of original writers been working on the show, and it's been very poor since then, there have only been one or two watchable episodes this year, what's worse is the Simpsons bashing newer shows such as Family Guy, and the constant politics as seen here diminish what good is left.

It's what it is The Simpson's, come on people, it's a cartoon nothing more nothing less. Stop trying to read a bunch of crap into it. Just sit back, relax and enjoy. Don't try to psycho analyze because I bet your all wrong. Laugh when you feel it's funny and don't when it's not. It's that simple.

This may not have been the best Simpsons ever made, but it was still very good. There were quite a few laugh-out-loud moments, and I really enjoyed the song by the Dixie Chicks (and I'm not really a big Country fan). I will agree that I didn't like the Grandpa part at the beginning, but someone else said it was a parody of the Sopranos which I have never seen. It seems people's main beef with this episode are their political views. It's obviously fine to have a differing view than the writers, but that doesn't make them unoriginal or lame. Very good episode, keep it up Simpsons!

I think the funniest part is the mayor doesn't say his name instead he says Mill House. He is a kid! Funny episode =]
