The mother is ridiculous. When they were asking for the Anesthesiologist, all I could think was yes she will have to be intubated for the procedure, but it wont take that long, and it is a standard test. When a 4 year old is complaining of upper quadrant pain, you know its there because kids dont tend to complain about pain as much as adults do. If I were the physicians/nurses that had to deal with her dramatic self, I would go INSANE. See 6 other replies

Many of you have opinions about the mother who appears to be a drama queen, but the reality is that if you've never lived with one of your children desperately ill you have no idea how you will react. We had our own experience last year, it's a time of feeling completely out of control, petrified by fear and then you start to feel you'll go crazy being in hospital room all day long week after week. The pressure of being responsible when you go home is overwhelming. It's easy to judge if you haven't walked in their shoes.

I understand if you're confused about something that has to deal with your child...but during this episode the mother seemed to make things MORE traumatic/worse then it already was. See 6 other replies

I couldn't believe she was asking a four-year-old to be brave while losing it all over the place. I'd like to see her reaction to one of the nurses telling her to be brave.-- she'd throw a fit. I'd have had more sympathy for her if she weren't making it so all about her. See 6 other replies

Haha I was rewatching this series and got to the part where she plays bejeweled to get rid of her stress and anxiety... I honestly don't know what I would do without my iphone/bejeweled, I am the exact same way.
