The writing, the acting, everything, is so well done. Matt Perry showed he can dance the dance with the best actors around. He is very good in this. The entire set for studio 60 is a great setting for the show. I love old movie halls, and this set is a tribute to them all. To bad they didn't give it another year. Maybe I would have turned away from my computer to watch T.V. if I had only known it was on. Did the networks put it opposite something popular and expect it to draw viewers away from whatever they were targeting, then give up on it after it failed to do so after the first year? Or was it that the writing was just too intelligent for most of the people who want the same mindless old junk that continues to be on TV. Oh I remember, I knew better than to watch and get attached to a good show because every time something like Studio 60 is on, I know they'll cancel it. That one of the reasons I stopped watching TV in general. Well, at least I have one years worth of episodes to watch. Now I can watch it knowing it was already canceled instead going through the misery of a network canceling something I really enjoyed while I'm watching it. What Fox did to FireFly taught me to stop watching new programs.
