This movie appears to have a great premise that would resonate well with people struggling in this tough economy similar to that of "Up in the Air (2009)". However, judging by the trailer, rather than tackling hard issues like the dehumanizing effects our society's business model has on the workforce, the film goes the easier route by focusing on sentimentalities and undermining the struggles of the central characters by showing that "things could be worse." Hopefully, I am wrong about this film and the trailer is just a sugarcoated version of what the movie really is. The cast looks superb and Ben Affleck plays to his strengths as a lovable but jaded protagonist. Even with its weaknesses, the trailer shows promise that this will be a satisfying movie.
