Thanks again Hulu, I must admit I was a little partial to the version with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell (Overboard), after the forcing myself thru the first 20- 30 min. I began to appreciate this version for its quality and depth of characters and storyline. Ek Ladka Ek Ladki was not only funny, it was energetic, colorful and at some points delightfully dramatic, although I must admit a little overly dramatic ending made me feel like I was watching a 70's martial arts movie. The musical scenes were also quite enjoyable. I don't know which version was made first, but being a BIG fan of foreign films I'm left to assume that Hollywood's version followed this one like it has so many other foreign films.
