The documentary is mainly about the Iraqi people and how some of them are coping with the American military. Both sides can barely stand each other and understandably so; when another group of people is pointing a gun at you almost every day it's pretty hard not to hate one another - add to that the huge language and cultural barrier. I personally find it impossible to sympathize with the resistance. As you can see, they won't think twice about throwing a grenade, or setting off a car bomb in a place full of "their people" just to kill one or five Americans. I think this is an example that their hate for the US military goes deeper than just trying to get them out of their country. I feel sympathy for the people in the middle of all of this; the average citizen. Not because the Americans are in their country but because the resistance's actions do more harm to them than to the Americans, and for what? They don't seem to understand that if they keep on doing these hit and run tactics they're putting others under the guillotine. Some of these innocent people are getting arrested because some righteous dumb ass thought it would be smart to snipe a soldier from some other person's roof. But what do they care? They can always use the Americans as scapegoats anyway. Not to say the US military is without "sin", but they're not the real bad guys here.

We all know the truth,even though we hide behind our flag. Does anyone not see the BS we have perpetrated undure the guise of freedom and democracy ? I do not see this happening in Africa where it would actually matter. There are no resources to broker in Africa and the people can contribute nothing to us as a country. The Regime leaders,dictators,etc, will actually allow American troops/UN Troops to walk through and afterwords it is business as usual. They know the deal,do not shoot and the UN/AMericans will leave, they can do nothing to us since we are not under restrictions.....In Iraq you have Oil,a foothold to Afganistan, MASSIVE Mineral deposits,critical deposits, and a foot hold for IRan when they decide they are ready to engage us. Show after show, interview after interview, the Iraq people do not want us in there. Sadam was no threat to us, only his own people,which falls back to the issues in Africa. As long as a place has value to us, we will get involved for our own interests.The sad fact is from the oil stand point, and the depleting oil wells in Iranq,there is MAYBE enough oil to power the entire US for a whole 6 months. So why is America securing it ?This documentary shows you how we are viewed. This is our new VIetnam except this time we control the media reports. Anyone whom claims this is biased is not taking into account how many hundreds of CNN reports that tell of how many we have killed,how well we are doing etc,etc and this clearly seems to indicate it is untrue,consider this a partial view of the other side of the coin
Myself, I am ashamed to be an American in this time and age and the BS behind " Your vote matters" jsut shows us we can do nothing for now,just sit back and let our Government go rogue,worldwide and do what it can to get away with whatever it feels it can as well.

It's unamerican to say the President,the news and the Government itself, are lying, right ? Doesn't matter if they are showing how retarded and silly so many of our troops are, it's biased !
