any good comedian
If you are a comedian and you never do religious jokes, chances are you suck. I wonder sometimes how many court jesters have been beheaded for slipping in some political slight that pushed the wrong kingly button. Comedy has always fought the church because they both get paid for using the word "god." One side is lying and its no small matter. This is why Penn is so passive aggressive here, you can really feel the frustration.

Agreed!
I love Penn because he's super crazy and funny but dead on. Seriously, when I retire I want to drop everything and practice a religion. I want to go to the mountains and learn about the supernatural side of existence. And I'm waiting till I retire because I don't want to go half and half with religion and the mundane life. I want to go full out either be in this world or the other because I don't like doing things half-assed.

I like his shows but
yesh, don't go full screen on Pen. It's like a homeless person in your face, get some moisturizer.

How does being a magician or a performance artist make someone less than worthy to have an opinion? - have you ever seen Penn & Teller's B.S.? He's mouthy and loud, that doesn't make him another idiot celebrity.
