I'm actually pretty surprised this hasn't gotten more attention.The fact is that this show demonstrates the difficulties of Gay persons who are demonized, villified and ridiculed just for being different. This show is a commentary about every day life for homosexuals who are made to feel like they don't belong in regular society. It demonstrates the ridiculousness that is manifested in mainstream prejudice toward alternate sexual orientation by turning the tables and showing how silly and weird prejudices over sexual orientation really are.Nothing is so funny or poignant as the things that let you laugh at yourself as well as everyday society.

I was raised in a Mormon household, am gay, and have no sacred cows: the queer community, LDS (Mormon) culture, and pop culture are all equally filled with opportunities for deft, intelligent satire. Unfortunately, this isn't it; it's pretty ham-handed and poorly acted even for the short-format, low-budget genre it belongs to. I gave Gaytown 15 minutes of my time (4 episodes), and won't be going back for more.

I saw the first few Episodes and thought they were pretty funny. Until this one. I am a Mormon and do not appreciate this horrible scene. This show is about a guy who is straight in a world of gays and doesn't like it. You'd think that the writer would be a little more considerate of about calling others gay who aren't. Mormon missionaries are not gay. Just because they travel in pairs doesn't mean they're butt buddies. I hate when people of this world target Mormons. We don't Target the Catholics or the Protestents do we? No. And we are not a cult, polygamists, gay, or amish. So leave us alone! If you don't know who we are. Then get to know us. Don't smash us just for fun. please. And sorry for the attitude. =)

Being a minority sucks no matter what side your on.

Being gay...I don't really know how I should feel about this show. Wouldn't it be the same concept as someone making a show about a white person living in a place where everyone's black?

I have to agree it it pretty silly, but I found myself laughing.

I watched this to make fun of how stupid and stereotypical it would make gay people look, and it did. But it's a little funny.
