Long ago I decided that one of the following two statements MUST be true:
1) I am insane;
2) The whole world is insane.
This movie provides further evidence that (2) is true; therefore, "I'm not crazy!"
It's wonderful that I live on a planet where seemingly normal people are in fact quite insane, as this film documents.
But seriously...
What I like best about this film is that it shows what can happen when a random group of people become actively involved in something -- ANYTHING, no matter how stupid! -- wonderful things happen when they connect with their fellow human beings!
At first I thought this movie would be more like 'Able Raises Cain' (must see, if you liked 'American Shopper'), the idea is so ridiculous that just seeing if you could get people to go along with the premise would be the joke; but once the idea was sold and folks took "aisling" seriously, it became a different movie; somewhat like 'American Idol', where it's more about the people involved, and less about the actual competition.
You're gonna waste at least 1hr 27min today doing something stupid, so you might as well spend it watching this movie.
