You're right!, Back to the Plumbing requirements thing, a commercial kitchen requires at a minimum FOUR sinks. Hand basin, (clearly seen in the videos, it's a small SSteel with gooseneck spout, and soap dispenser on the wall). Then the three others. Prep, Food, and Pot sink. There must be a grease trap, but this is a large kitchen, so, the Pot sinks (where Mr Chef throws the on fire pans, must go through the grease trap, along with the food prep where frozen foods, may be thawed in water. Then a Pre Rinse, and Pot sink(s). The grease cannot make it's way to the city sewer.
But, I've seen on one episode, I think one of the episodes where Jen was on, (for comic relief) SHE DESERVES! FREE AT LAST!, the Master Chef, GR, TOLD a junior chef NOT to wash his/her Hands! How wrong is that? Then, GR, pounds his head on a SSteel freezer (or something similar), and his next words are, I've got such a headache! Or something close...
It's fun, the drama is built in, by the contestants, and none of this should be taken even a little bit seriously! This is NOT the way professional kitchens work! This is a dramedy. With a grand prize. Nothing more, and, Nothing Less. I enjoy the story's! See 4 other replies
