Slightly suspenseful, well acted, cool locations. All in all a good film. I wouldnt watch it twice. ( no offence to anyone involved in making it, or any family members or friends of those people)
Its a good one time film. Alot like a book you don't mind reading to the end. Worth checking out, maybe memorable, easily gets lost in the stacks.
Enjoyed this one very much. Where has it been hiding? Good, believable acting. Well done plot, even if it is probably not "real world" feasible. Good combination of plot suspense and development with enough action to keep things moving along.
As an older person who lived through the cold war decades, I found this movie more realistic than current spy fantasies like mission impossible. The european scenes throughout the movie where very good to see. Thank god that smart-aleck tom cruise wasn't in it. John savage was very convincing with good supporting actors.
Robert Ludlumm wrote a few books about a CIA operative called "The Bourne Identity"'and a few others.This movie has alot of the same stuff as the Ludlumm books do,and much better portraied than the Bourne movies were.This book may have been the begining of Ludlumm's writting career.I was well made!
Why did I subject myself to this display of cinematic torture? This film was patetically boring. Sure the plot was ok, the acting wasn't to bad, but the film itself as a whole just dragged on, and on, and on. There should have been a lot more action, and that female terrorist who got poisened, where'd they get that dog from, I almost puked when I saw her laying naked in the hospital. Good thing this crap won't be on hulu for much longer.
