In this episode we travel to Chicago, Illinois in search of the biggest beer nut. We start the search with a lesson in brewing at Piece Pizza and Beer.Hide Description
I'm glad to see a few neighborhood bars, but what a bummer that they didn't show the amazing beer garden at Sheffields (there's a tree). And what about drinking Old Style at a Cubs game?
Fat Tire is made in Fort Collins, which is probably why they didn't talk about it in Denver.I'd say the show offers little to the beer connoisseur. Perhaps it's aimed more at those new to craft beer as a means of boosting interest to the art. Still, that's no excuse for hiring people to host the show who describe the "Top" of the beer as such-and-such... The craft beer industry is complex, diverse, and constantly evolving. I think interested viewers deserve a presentation from people who can better deliver regarding those qualities. Humor always has a place when thinking about beer, but I would rather see it used as an accent to a stronger base knowledge.
this show is like a flat beer, they never deliver on the good stuff they only talk about it, why the hell did they not go to the folks that make fat tire beer in the denver show all they did was talk about it...half crap....ok all !
These hosts got to go. I know MOJO is no longer, but another network should pick up the basic concept of this show but get new hosts that are not trying to crack jokes every 30 seconds. Just focus on beer, food, breweries, bars, pubs, etc.
Wow, @Kowboy_Kaziglu_Bey, that's a pretty jagoff attitude to take towards the Chicago. beer community. There's plenty of good breweries in the area (Two Brothers, Flossmoor Station, Three Floyd's, etc). Sure, we're not as strong Seattle, Portland, or Denver but if these guys are touring beer cities across the US, Chicago is as worthy of a stop as any other.
Tags are user-generated labels related to this video or show that can help you discover related videos on Hulu. Check the tags you feel are most appropriate for this video or add your own (the number in parentheses indicates how many other users have used that tag.) You can tag videos yourself by simply checking the box next to a popular tag for a video or by using the "add" field to create a new tag.
