Yes it is but live studio audiences did not exist at the time this was produced. Norman Lear introduced them with "All In The Family" a few years later after which they became the standard.
For your own entertainment you can try and identify the tracks, they only had a few and if you pay attention you can hear the same distinctive laughs over and over. See 1 other reply
