Not only can u barely understand them half the time, there's so many holes in the story/plot that r unexplained - its like Swiss cheese. Its as boring as possible, I had a hard time staying awake in the first 10 mins, forcing myself to watch it & try to make sense out of it gave me a headache. Absolutely the MOST BORING show Ive seen in a long time. I saw no use of the UV light the show is supposed to be about. (I watch alot of foreign films too)

make the vampires the good guys at some point this series is going to be a big disappointment. Not because I love vampires but the set up is perfect for it.

It wasn't an old painting, but a new one. The grandfather had blue eyes, but the grandson had brown eyes, which helped them piece together that the grandfather (blue eyes) was masquerading as his grandson (brown eyes). So what you're calling a mistake is simply evidence that you weren't paying attention to what was happening and being said.
