what could have been a campy, hilarious send up becomes more often a distasteful, bottom dwelling hack job. some good acting, some fun ideas, shot to hell by too juvenile a mind. true "dumb comedy" takes some intelligence, and a modicum of restraint, which the producer , director and writers apparently lack. howard stern as the producer? THE howard stern? wouldnt be surprised, a guy with loads of potential who is content , as he might say, ejaculating prematurely, as oppposed to teasing and seducing and ultimately wowing his audience. frustrating, sometimes funny, frequently disgustlingly unfunny.
