Last bank on Lankershim blvd (Security Pacific National Bank). I applied for a teller job there (18yrs old. ) Bad timing. An embezelment scheme was in the works using employees that would hire on, but quit in 3-4 weeks. During this period they were somehow getting cash to "customers" (in on the scheme) without comming up short on he drawer. The FBI (yes, them) pulled me in for questioning, again and again and again. Their "ruse" was I was personally identified as part of "the operation". Being innocent, why worry? Well as weeks passed, they wouldn't let up. This is the stuff that episodes are made of, and really worried me as an 18yr old. Finally my dad found out (I was young and knew I could handle it - WRONG). It took 2 personal visits to the FBI from my dad (my hero). The only thing dad said after this ended was "they were pricks" . End of that saga. I'm now 54 years old, and Security Pacific National Bank was swallowed by Crocker Bank, that was absorbed by First Intertate Bank. That will teach them to mess wih me.

I won't spoil it, but there is a great fight scene at the end of this one, you will laugh when you see it.I love this show. Office Jim Reed makes another appearance in this episode. The ginormous walkie talkie is way too cool.

this was high tech back in those days!! dont you love the way he's signaling for people to get out of the way!! also check out season 2 #10 "the missing realtor" and pause it when they show the gas receipt they find in her car,,check out the price of gas back then... what a trip!!!
