I am adding my review for this season to the first episode because that's most likely the first place anyone potentially interested in this show is going to see.
I've been fascinated with courtroom dramas since I was a kid way back in the day of Perry Mason, moving along to Ironside, Matlock, L&O, etc. Murder One goes far, far beyond a regular courtroom drama. I was smitten with the first episode and riveted until the very end of this first season. I couldn't help but think it was a lot like reading a really good book. I couldn't wait to find out what happened but at the same time I didn't want it to end! There have only ever been two other TV series in existence that have given me that feeling (and no, although I really enjoyed it, Lost wasn't one of them).
The characters are extremely well-written and as the story progresses developed much better than my expectations. The story is astounding and believable. Unlike most TV shows where I watch an episode or two then tune out, this first season was an absolute pleasure to experience.
