Solomon, he never said he doesn't care about his health. And if he did say that, it certainly didn't seem to me that he was doing anything detrimental, like drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes. He seems to be living a clean lifestyle.
I used to have an organ donor sticker on my license but for some reason, I stopped. After watching that documentary, I want to contact my DMV and find out how to get a sticker. And Solomon, I hope only artists get my organs, but if an angry, judgemental person like you ends up with my cornea so he can literally see better, so be it. See 1 other reply

but shouldn't the next available kidney go to someone who has been waiting for a kidney for years And never has recieved one, not someone who just keeps using up kidneys and making them unavailable to people who might not think or at least not say on camera, "I don't care about my health".
Also I've known people who play music, one was asthmatic and did not smoke, but being on a stage above everyone, where the smoke collects turns out, happens to be the worst place in a room full of people who are actively choosing to imbibe chemicals that lower the effects of your body's immune system.
But maybe for a guy who's only goal in life was always to be a dancing monkey, entertaining people who have the liberty of being able to risk their health....I can't evven watch this anymore...

This is about the lives of transplant patients. The donors and recipients. Donating organs saves lives. Up to 40 lives can be changed or saved through organ donation. If you would donate blood, then donate your organs. Your body will not need nor use after you have died. There are so few reasons not to be an organ donor. Watch the movie and see several lives change before your eyes. See the unexpected deaths and the unexpected recipients. As the saying goes "You couldn't of made up a story this good." Truly a treat to watch and let this film help open up discussion with your family about organ donation.
