At first I loved this movie, then the hypocrisy came....
The premise of the movie is essentially freedom. Freedom to use the airwaves.
Get the government out of the way, get rid of the repressive laws, etc.
Then they started talking about the WTO and how it was awful and how micro-broadcasters could stop the WTO. The problem? The WTO is all about encourage free-markets by getting repressive laws out of the way of free-trade.
You'd think that pirate broadcasters, who are against government interventionism, would also champion removing restrictive laws from ALL aspects of life, etc.
However, these guys ONLY seem interested in removing such laws from THEIR particular interests.....
Freedom is freedom. Restrictive laws are restrictive laws.
If you won't fight all such laws, then you can't say that you're for pure freedom.....
