There were so many inconsistencies that it was hard to keep my mind on the plot - all the things they managed to do on those roller skates, the leather costumes were probably really hot, the tire place would have been toxic, and that poor owl flying around with ties to its talons! The white 'ump' uniforms were laughable altho I'm sure the guys enjoyed Terra's! Everybody was too clean and hydrated for there to be no water. Etc, etc, etc. It's a cute storyline and decent movie if you're not one for consistent details. But all I could do was to keep thinking, "in real life that wouldn't be possible". I know, I know, but I just couldn't help it with this film. Hope Smokey Robinson got paid well for the theme song but I think it was below him. Much happier with the other science fiction that Peter DeLouise went on to direct!

Well made with good special effects for its time. Sort of the Avatar of the 80's...

I love this movie I have purchased it 3 time in my life if it had gotten lost ruined or upgraded media formats. The story and stuff arnt that great as an adult but as a child I loved this movie. It still brings back fond memories of the towns skating rink.
