That guys mouth get on my nerves. "Dave" looks like he holds snuff in his mouth. Why what happened to that girl wasn't taken seriously? They should have just left that part out of the script. They drugged her and probably raped her and all you can do is give them a lil a** whopping and then ignore it and go on about your business? That shouldn't have even been in the script. It was an okay show, but eh now I will see after a few more episodes. I really don't want to watch after this crappy one.

Horrible show, zero character development, glaring plot holes and enough absurdities to make it seem like it was written by a 4 year old. To the many examples already posted I will add one more - why is it that this character, whatever her name is, steals the keys from the landlady, runs all the way across the lawn to the shed/studio knowing that she has to return the keys as quickly as possible since the landlady only leaves the room to change socks and THEN PROCEEDS TO CREATE A CAST OF THE KEY(S), MELT METAL, POUR IT INTO MOULD(S), WAIT UNTIL THE METAL HAS COOLED, EXTRACT KEY(S).... I am sorry, what? How? Why? Who wrote this and who thought this was in any way a plausible scenario that viewers would accept? Suspension of disbelief is one thing but this show calls for suspension of all intelligence.

I am just not connecting with any of the characters. Seems like the character development is very flat, and I'm just bored by it. I'll keep watching though hopefully it will get better but so far it's not...

I don't know why I'm going to watch all eight episodes, but I plan on it. This second episode is a complete dud. Read lower reviews for reasons why.

So, episode one was not available; I'm missing some basic intro on the characters and story ...The seventeen yr old girl, maybe the new sheriff's sister?
Well, whoever she is, I wouldn't of had a problem if he'd beaten those guys half to death (he might of lost his job and spent 30 days in the clink; but worth it).
But, ... he stops in the middle of kicking butt and getting answers to take an "important" phone call? Forget it - he's busy; call back !More time should have been spent with the girl - take her to the hospital - check for rape, drugs, etc. She could tell the Sheriff that she thinks the guy in the cafeteria drugged her. This is a very serious mystery staring the sheriff right in the face and he doesn't follow-up?"He told me where the bodies were" - so let's go get some bodies; wouldn't that prove something if it were true?Nice rip / rif on Eureka theme music."You're so vain" who was so vain? So much money is spent on cameras and actors and sets, and on and on - all gone to waste because they didn't buy the very best writers.

This could have been a great show. The problem is that the people running the network are completely incompetent, and are routinely exchanged,Their eyes are on the bottom line, Typical corporate think. Quality doesn't mean s**t. They want low-budget, lowest-common-denominator crap. Good TV is dead.
