A nice drama about family, friends and lovers. I didn't think that I would like it, but I got caught up in this nice little drama from the moment I started to watch it.

Can someone please explain to me why all surf movies suck? Going back to the the old Annette Funicello/ Frankie Avalon flicks, Gidget, Point Break (probably the best of them, but still not very good), Blue Crush, Surfer Dude. I always want to like them, but it is impossible. The only good bits are the surfing itself. Apparently surfers just don't write very good scripts. Sorry. Maybe I've not seen the good ones, if there are any.

This movie stars the same guy who is Jason in True Blood, the HBO series. Fun :) Wonder if the Australian accent is authentic.

What took him so long to surf the big ones. I surfed 35ft at the at of 16 with only two guys out and no lifegards. Aguadillia base Ramey. These waves break a lot harder then Puerto Rico. One fall and it is over boyeeee.
