The second season is not nearly as good as the first, unfortunately. Attention is split among too many cases. The villain is not as compelling. And it seems the only reason the black attorney is there is so they can rehash the most simplistic interpretations of the OJ Simpson verdict (ie, that black jurors won't vote to convict black defendants. Go to a majority-black city like DC and find out if black jurors automatically side with black defendants and attorneys! What silly interpretations like this leave out is that LA -- like Chicago, St. Louis, New York, and many other cities have scandals of massive proportions involving framing black and Latino suspects as part of the War on Drugs. So, jurors from these areas are attuned to credible allegations of police misconduct.)All that said, I can't stop watching it.

He is such a perfect bad guy. His disarming smile and fatherly manner (aka Mr. Walton) is a flawless mask for evil. What a great and versatile actor.
