Description	During the Cold war, The United States hid atomic weapons in U.S. Embassies around the world to protect against possible attacks. Now that America's former enemies are allies, the bombs must be disarmed. Enter Steve Parker (Peter Weller), a computer expert sent to Romania to disable the bomb. What he didn't expect to find was Erica Long (Daryl Hannah), an old flame and fellow government agent sent to help him. As old sparks re-ignite, the two find themselves in the middle of a violent takeover of the Embassy by terrorists. Thirty-seven people are taken hostage, along with Steve's stepson Chris. When the terrorists begin killing hostages, General buck Swain (Tom Beringer) is called in to spearhead the rescue operation and prevent the bomb from falling into the wrong hands. The fact that he doesn't even know it exists is going to make his job that much harder.

Yeah it isn't a Titanic or a Forrest Gump, but hey! Its quite entertaining. Held my attention. I wanted to see what would happen next. And if a film can keep your attention, its worth watching. Anyone who gave this only one star, shame on you. Go back to your dvd collection and rewatch something you do like.

Campy, cheesy acting and directing mixed with graphic blood. Bad combination. NOne of these actors are really any good anyway, but this was probably a new low for each one of them.

You have to be kidding me. There are no visual cameras and somehow their bodies stopped showing up on the thermal sensors??? Poor writing, worse directing. James Bond this ain't.

Well, I doubt that it was the Budget that caused this film to wander aimlessly, unless perhaps they let the writer go halfway through the project (very likely).

It's kind of cute and fun and simple with WAY too many errors that might never happen in a "real film" where there is fact checking and some semblance of realism (haha).

Anyway, not the worst way to spend 90 minutes if someone is looking for a semi-action movie with minimal acting and even less plot development. All in good fun though.

Yea, it's an action formula we all have seen way too many times and it certainly does not rate a four star or above, but all film is relative to what is available to us in various media. I would rather watch Peter Weller, Tom Berenger, Daryl Hannah, and Brion James in a weak movie any day over much of the garbage available on prime time networks such as the over exploited reality shows, the repititous talent shows (american idol, who's got talent... blah), and the crapola of other shows.

I'm not saying all prime time entertainment is garbarge, there are some exceptions, but Diplomatic Siege is a five star movie compared to the ocean of recycled funk the networks spoon feed us. Compared to other notable actions films on the other hand, it would be parked near the bottom of the totem pole.

I'm sorry, was that a nuclear bomb, or a microbrewery? Even with the Kings and Queens of B movies, a decent acting job was not be had. If you don't have a lot of crackers and wine, don't watch this cheese.
