Okay, I remember my Dad (now deceased) watching this show when it first came out. Being the bratty child I was, though I was hardly still a child, I sneered at yet another lawyer-centric show and assumed it was one more of his efforts to get me to follow in his footsteps by becoming a lawyer (yikes).
I just saw that this was here on hulu (thus my topic title) and decided to give it a shot as it's just past the anniversary of my father's passing, and...
I've only seen 7 episodes of the first season, so far, but what an incredible assortment of actors! What a wonderful example of sustained drama!
This show would never do well now, in my opinion, simply because it's so very serialized and people seem to have shorter attention spans, wanting to see the crime, the investigation, and the resolution all within 45 minutes or so (minus network commercials), and that's a shame.
I'm loving this show and hope to finish watching season one within the next week or so... though I've heard/read here on the discussion board that season two is less than stellar, so maybe I should take my time. lol
In any case, I'm glad I took a shot at this... and I really wish I could tell my Dad that he was right. Heh.
