Obviously you've read the books, maybe even a few times each and you know each and every twist and turn to it's finest detail, but the fact remains, the movie is NEVER the same or as good as the book. Look what they did to Lord of the Rings. Saruman, for example, lives and shows up near the very end, but in the movie, extended edition at least, he dies. Hollywood can't make a movie as good as a book. If they could, we'd have hundreds of four and five hour long epics.

why do you have embellish, prop up, add all the flash and silliness you do? In the book this scene never happened not even close except little cutie Eragon killing that dude with a sword to the heart so very sad what you do to books hollywood. Some day movies will be just an endless stream of explosions screaming yelling flashing with no actors at all, just boom boom boom.. oh ya, the occasional car flipping into the air and exploding because you know cars always do that..... but the movie.... ya I would like to see the book in visual format even though hollywood is butchering it.

Okay, Eragon, I repeat ERAGON, is the one who is seriously injured, NOT Saphira. This one scene completely ruined the possiblity for a sequel. The first half of Eldest, Eragon struggles with his injury. Then the dragons heal him, turning him into a half elf/half human breed. Most of the events in the rest of Eldest and most of Brisingr are only possible because Eragon has the physical characteristics of an elf. Also, during this scene, Eragon should not be battling Durza while on Saphira, but in the main chamber of Tronjheim without Saphira, Then Arya and Saphira break Isidar Mithrim to save Eragon. That provides a story line for Brisingr because Saphira restores Isidar Mithrim to it's former glory.

I hope the full length movie comes on Hulu! Read all the books and , yes, the movie was not as good as the book. I still enjoyed watching it. Love dragons!

Okay, first off, where the HELL did this "dragon of dark magic," come from? It's complete bull. Secondly, the whole this wound weakens me was a disgrace. Saphira is a dragon for crying out load. One wound isn't going to drag her to the ground. i can emphasize when they take things out and replace them with things that make more sense in movie form, but this is just plain confusing.

The Inheritance series is awesome, o.m.g. i love Brisingr, but this is just a disgrace. I hope Christopher Paolini sues them.

The single worst book adaptation of all time. Anyone who enjoyed the books (yes, there are elements of LOTR and Star Wars, but who cares? Still great reading) will be either totally nauseated or heavily medicated after watching these clips. Horrible, horrible work. Hang the director, writers, and producers by their short and curlies for this fiasco.
