Great boredom killer, this movie reeks with that simple 1980s entertainment value. Nothing epic, or too deep, just plain fun. NIce 'feel good' ending, it'll put a smile on your face. I really liked it.

Talk about a movie that takes you back!! This came out when I was 11, and being a huge wrestling fan at the time, it was obviously a movie with Roddy Pipper, Captain Lou, and the Tonga Kid was gunna be a hit with me...The only issue I had with it 22 years ago was 'Where's the rest of the A-team?" lol Still a great movie to this day, especially cool with the cameo's of Ric Flair and Blassie before the main Event! Even though I swore the line (when talking to the rolling stone writer) was "Who ever heard of the Kiss'es or the Ratts", not "The Kiss'es or the Who's." Regardless = A+

I remember watching this movie when I was about 6 years old and really liking it. Having watched it for the first time in about 20 years, it made me think of a more innocent time in my life... it wasn't a bad movie at all. Be on the lookout for a cameo from "Nature Boy" Ric Flair later on in the movie.
