This and Singing in the Rain are on my top ten movies of all time. Lemon and Curtis are pitch perfect and Marilyn was at her best complimenting the 2 male leads. Comedy at its best by the master Billy Wilder. I've watched this movie several times since I was a kid and simply love it and never get tired or bored. Even though I have seen it many, many times I laugh each and every time I see it. The scene when Daphne returns from dancing all night with Osgood and she shaking the marracas with delight at being engaged is the best comedy scene of all time - funny and classic all the way.
"Nobodies perfect" But this movie sure is. I've seen this movie more times than I can count and it always makes me laugh. Best ending line of any movie ever made. Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis were the ugliest women i've ever seen but the makeup was great. And the extra added attraction was Marilyn Monroe running down that boat ramp in that backless gown. Zowie.
