Obviously a show about serious smarts, hard work and its pay offs is not going to appeal to may people but for those that are grounded in the reality of how the world actually works - this is a perfect show.

The series's first episode is a bit boring, introducing us to a large cast of characters without giving us a chance to truly get to know and care about them. You probably won't remember any of their names after it's done.Also, anyone who is not a stock market expert will likely be confused, as the show highlights many of the different complex facets of working on Wall Street in quick succession. It does give a brief, slightly helpful explanation of each concept as it goes along, however.Basically: If you're interested in the stock market like I am, you might like or even love this series. If you're not, then you'll probably hate it.Extra note: I thought that the way the names of the stocks mentioned on the show were bleeped out was hilarious. It makes it sound as if they're cursing. Check out 6:11-6:16 to see what I mean.

This is not a show that will appeal to a wide audience but this episode got me hooked on the whole series. Heck, it got everyone in my office hooked on the whole series. Oh yeah, I work in financial services.
