This is a good crime thriller. It is more of an action film, than horror, although there definately is a mystery. The acting is quite good, some of the lesser characters are a bit wooden, and there are a few cliches. But, nothing that should not be expected. The plot progresses nicely with good twists and suspense. There is lots of corruption, but that is to be expected - it is crime movie - just who are the villians going to be? The white man being the savoir of the poor third world amateurs is clearly not the point of this film - a lot of people IN the film comment on this - but it is clear that this is not the case. Unless Mexico, Human Rights and Corruption are buttons for you, you will enjoy this film.
