Kind of grows on you
I don't think I've ever truly laughed once at this show, but there's something kind of soft and likeable about it. It's good in a "glad it's free on Hulu.com with minimal ads" type of way. By no means will it ever come remotely close to the good episodes of Family Guy or the truly classic episodes of The Simpsons, which is in an absolute league of its own.

The Best Program!
American Dad is definately sharing the best show made catagory with King of the Hill! And this is my favorite episode. Talk about a laugh a second show. Love it, wish I could give it 10 stars!
