Look, before people shout you down or commiserate with you, I would just like to point out that you are offering NOTHING that is even remotely analytical about the show. The thing you have to understand is that these critiques of SNL have been around since the 70s. I found a news update where they addressed the hate mail received due to the departure of Chevy Chase. Every few years: "The good actors left.." "It hasn't been the same since..." "It's more like Saturday Night Dead..." etc. etc. etc. The digital short "I'm on a Boat" is meant to ridicule trends in Rap music videos, and I thought it was hysterical. Disliking one actor (Andy Samberg) should not be used to condemn the entire show...nor should watching one bum skit or episode...those will happen from time to time too. As variety show, it cannot be dismissed wholesale just because of ONE critique. That's my unsolicited 2 cents. Hope I made sense.   See 21 other replies

im sorry but nothing about this skit made me laugh. SNL used to be hilarious maybe 5 years ago, but they lost too many of their great comedians. that new guy, i dont even know his name, yea the guy with a big nose isnt funny. i havent seen a skit yet he was in that made me laugh. im on a boat? wtf that is one of the most stupid skits ive seen. even tho im only 25 i dont really know why i should be saying this, but maybe i just dont get the comedy of kids today......   See 21 other replies
