The entrapped district attorney is masterfully played by Royal Edward Dano, Sr. He could have given quite a few modern actors lessons in embodying a character. Inger Stevens is his frightened wife. Harry Townes, of some episodes of "The Fugitive" and several other TV shows, is the oily, manipulative, cold-blooded brother. Also with Ray Teal, Bobby Ellis and Lisa Golm. Golm gave an excellent and utterly convincing emotional performance as a suspect's desperate mother.Another thrilling episode directed by the prolific Herschel Daugherty. Sarett Rudley adapted this story by Jay Bennett for the screen. Makes you wonder how some people really do get elected.
