The wordless sequence was classic Hitchcock, he played with the medium of TV the way Eisner played with sequential art and words in his strip 'The Spirit'. The suspenseful mood was perfectly sustained throughout the whole episode. I, for one, prefer not seeing the way this ends. Why would I want to see the protagonist(?) nabbed or get away with murder? hat would be going through the motions, in my opinion. With this ending, the perfect note of the thriller is never resolved, to use musical terms. This was one of the best episodes I've see yet! Long live Hitch!
