I watched this film, based on the Hulu description of the plot. Nothing like I thought it would be. No real horror..unless, by horror, you mean a horrible script. The acting and filming were OK, but the plot and writing were terrible. Way too many inconsistencies in the storyline as others have noted below.
If the 2 fake detectives and the girl victim were righteous vigilantes...why frame an innocent guy for the murders? There were no clues left at the murder scene, so there was no reason to set him up. And why not keep the gun loaded? It made no sense to turn her gun in saying it misfired...and I have no idea why she'd have to turn her gun in in the 1st place.
The whole plot and storyline was a mess.....I think they must have shot this film randomly, then stitched the film together in the edit room.
The only one 'In the darkness' was the person who wrote the screenplay.
