He doesn't lose his power if he gets splashed with sea water. Only if he dives into the sea, which he does a lot to everyone's dismay, will he lose his powers and sink like a hammer. See 13 other replies

Think of Sea Stone as sapphire (diamond). Hard, yes, but brittle. A diamond bullet would shatter from the force of firing and the fragments would likely not be ejected terribly far. You would need a cannon ball sized diamond to produce a fragment of note (as only the surface would probably shatter) but this is expensive and inaccurate. An air cannon would be better (wouldn't shatter the projectile), but it would be non-lethal (mostly...) so a net would make a great deal of sense.

One could make the argument that since things can be "diamond-coated" then why don't they make Sea Stone coated bullets. I'm sure this would be hand waved by saying "Luffy doesn't lose his power by being splashed with sea water, so since bullets are so small, doesn't it follow that they would have similar limitations?" You also have to rember that Sea Stone is supposed to be pretty rare, so they would probably want to use them in ways that would make them easy to recover. Sea Stone bullets would be more of a waste than an asset. See 13 other replies

wrong again they have shown alot of people being shot to death. its just not going to happen to main characters/villains since that would be too easy. plus they'd just write them using haki to block them anyway DX See 13 other replies

the prison bullets are seastone nets if you were paying attention. and yeah the navy is run by morons. heck if smoke sharpened his pole into a sword luffy would of been dead by now. See 13 other replies
