Some riveting, intense scenes, some touching ones, and a couple funny ones that didn't work so well, but all worth watching. Excellent performances by Ted Levine ("Crime Story," "Wonderland," "Justice League," "Shutter Island") as the angry Captain Stottlemeyer, and Bob/Robert Clendenin (Circle X Theatre Co., "Reaper," "Cougar Town," "Scrubs," "The Closer") as the adorable homeless man Gerald Vengal; with quirkiness by Glenne Headly ("The Purple Rose of Cairo," "ER," "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen") as disgruntled Karen Stottlemeyer; and with "Supernatural's" angel Castiel, Misha Collins ("24," "ER"), as Michael Karpov, and Nicky Katt ("Herbie, the Love Bug," "CHiPs,""V," "Boston Public") as the trouble-making Sgt. Sharkey.
Watch "Supernatural" if you haven't.
